How Do I Find the Cheapest Pharmacies for Prescriptions?
While we encourage our users to shop around for the lowest price on prescription medications at their local pharmacies when using our pharmacy discount card, we do analyze the savings of all prescriptions at all our network pharmacies. Our pharmacy network is made up of over 62,000 pharmacies including all the major retail chain and local stores.
Some of our research shows that, in general, the lowest priced medications are generics. Generic medications provide the same active ingredients as their brand counterparts at considerably lower prices. Generic medications are often created by multiple manufacturers so there is a competitive component to their pricing. This may make it more difficult to find the cheapest pharmacies for prescriptions

Cheapest Pharmacies for Prescriptions
We also looked at the average discount of all prescriptions (brand and generic combined) at every pharmacy within our network.
Although some pharmacies offer greater savings than the pharmacies listed below, they may not have filled as many prescriptions thus skewing the results. For example, if your local pharmacy provided deeper discounts than those listed below, they may have filled a very small number of prescriptions compared to the chain store making their average discounts look deeper. Most EasyDrugCard prescriptions are filled through large chain stores. It is important to note that those stores that filled a larger number of generic drugs will show a larger discount since discounts on generic drugs are significantly deeper than on brand drugs.
