Marianne has a relentless desire to help individuals and families spend fewer of their hard-earned dollars on prescription drugs and healthcare overall. Marianne became starkly aware of the high cost of medications helping her parents navigate the high cost of medication. This drove Marianne to find a better alternative for people.
Marianne is CEO at Easy Drug Card. She has a Master’s degree in Counseling and over 20 years as a Human Resources executive, with extensive experience in leadership, healthcare, employee empowerment and consulting. She is passionate about encouraging individuals and families to take charge of their healthcare and believes this leads people to make informed, wise decisions about their overall health.
Christopher Petersen has over 25 years of experience in the Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) and Managed Care industries. Chris began his career developing pharmacy management software in the late 1980s and is a subject matter expert in pharmacy claims adjudication and discount drug card practices. He has extensive experience in PBM Sales, Account Management, and Client Services servicing Taft-Hartley groups, large and mid-sized employers, TPAs, and large payor organizations.
Mr. Petersen was an Account Executive for CVS/Caremark, MedImpact, and HealthTrans and was VP of Client Services for Envision RxOptions and Senior VP of Client Services for American Health Care. Chris is currently using his extensive PBM experience as the VP of Analytics and Client Services for Crystal Clear Rx, a Denver-based healthcare consulting firm.

Our Medical Experts
Dr. Peter J. Rice is a professor of Pharmacology emeritus at the East Tennessee State University Quillen College of Medicine and Professor of Clinical Pharmacy at the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. He received his BS in pharmacy from Northeastern University, PhD in pharmacology from the Ohio State University and PharmD from the University of Kentucky. He is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist and practices in the ambulatory care and community pharmacy settings. Professor Rice is the author of Understanding Drug Action: An introduction to pharmacology (APhA, 2014) and is a fellow of the American Pharmacists Association.
Dr. Andrea M. Jones graduated from the University of Colorado School of Pharmacy. Dr. Jones completed post-graduate year 1 (PGY-1) residency at the Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System (SAVAHCS) in Tucson, Arizona, where she worked in multiple hospital and primary care clinic settings. She completed numerous projects like research, hospital-wide publications, and formal education presentations. Dr. Jones also worked in retail/community pharmacies for over 5 years during Undergraduate studies at the University of Kentucky and pharmacy school at the University of Colorado. Dr. Jones enjoy helping people access their medications and assist them in understanding their disease and medications. She feels passionate about managing chronic diseases (like diabetes, high blood pressure, heart failure, COPD, etc.) with both lifestyle and medications because they are the most common diseases. Some of these medical conditions are preventable; proper education and treatment can reduce hospital stays and even lead to a longer life.
Dr. Sarah N. Fischer is a pharmacist completing a Clinical Neurology Research Fellowship specializing in pharmacologic management of neurologic disease states including epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, and other movement disorders. She received her doctorate of pharmacy degree from the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences where she also practices in an outpatient neurology clinic. Dr. Fischer has previous experience working in a community retail pharmacy setting where she developed a passion for empowering her patients through education to help optimize their health outcomes.
Dr. Chelsea Slyker received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, and her Master of Public Health from the Colorado School of Public Health. Her interests include addiction medicine, behavioral health, and healthcare policy. She looks forward to combining her clinical pharmacy background with her passion for public health to improve access to affordable health care.
Dr. Elizabeth A. (Beth) Carter
Dr. Elizabeth A. Carter (Beth) is a Second Year Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Resident at the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. She received her BA in Italian from The Ohio State University and PharmD from Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED). She completed her first year of residency as a Community Pharmacy Resident with the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and King Soopers & City Market Pharmacy Services.
Elena obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health from Saint Cloud State University in St. Cloud, MN. She has extensive experience in the healthcare industry and continues to work to advocate healthy living. She is passionate about educating people on how to focus on good nutrition and promoting a safer, cleaner food supply. She loves yoga, baking, and all things coconut. Elena lives with her husband Shawn in beautiful Castle Rock, Colorado.
Danielle is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Personal Trainer residing in Anchorage, Alaska. She received her B.S. in Nutrition, Dietetics and Foods Science from California State University at Northridge. As an athlete, Danielle was initially drawn to Nutrition because she desired to learn how to best fuel her body for optimal performance. However, after becoming a Dietitian, her focus has broadened. After a Lyme and autoimmune disease diagnosis, she has learned the role that food can play in healing the body. She now works with clients with a variety of goals ranging from sports performance, Food Intolerance, Autoimmune, to Weight loss.
Davida is a fitness professional and former award winning health and science television reporter. As a mother and wife she juggles the daily challenges of raising three children, working and staying active. She likes to make fitness fun and helping people find joy in exercise so we can cure the obesity epidemic in our country.
